Paid bids
The Greater Buffalo Flag Football League will award the 4 on 4 playoff champion of the summer session a full paid bid to the United States Flag and Touch Football Championships held in Kissimmee, FL on January 16, 17 & 18, 2009. A full paid bid covers 100% of a teams registration fee ($285). The GBFFL has also announced it will allow the GBFFL playoff championship team to use the paid bid for 8-man or any other style/division that they choose at the USFTL Nationals. The full paid bid for 4 on 4 is $285, while the full paid bid for 8 on 8, for example, is $460. If the team that wins the GBFFL 4 on 4 Championship on August 17, 2008 wishes to apply their full paid towards 8 on 8, instead of 4 on 4, at the Nationals they may do so. In that case, that team would be responsible for paying the $175 balance. This is also true for the recreational division champion, taking into account the recreational division bid is a half paid bid if there are 8 or more teams in the division ($145). Recreational division championship teams with less than 8 teams in their division will receive a quarter paid bid ($72). Registration closes for the GBFFL summer session on June 25, 2008.

Code of Conduct
The GBFFL staff will strictly ensure that all players’ and spectators’ actions align and comply with our league mission statement, as displaying sportsmanship and conducting oneself in a professional manner is important to the GBFFL and The University at Buffalo.  Alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and drug use are not permitted at Kunz Stadium.
